Trailer Breakdown: “Regular Show: The Movie”
Last week, the official trailer for Regular Show: The Movie was unveiled, and like always, we decided to go through it with a fine-toothed comb to pick apart the shit out of it and see what kind of secrets are hiding. Let’s get into it:
Right from the get-go, you can see that the producers of Regular Show are putting together an action story, and judging by these mustaches, it’s going to be very 80s inspired, just like the old-school sentiments of the series.
This isn’t the cast’s first-time in space, but so far, this is the best space has ever looked for the series. Here you can see 3D production techniques have put in play. Just from the initial trailer, you can see that Regular Show: The Movie might be the most high-end effort every conceived by Cartoon Network, and what better franchise to kick shit off with than Regular Show.
From the looks of it, everybody’s favorite Regular Show characters are accounted for. Mordecai, Rigby, Muscle Man, Benson, Pops, Skips, and High Five ghost are all in, but other than guest stars, I wonder if we will see any surprise cameos.
The feature-length will be 70 minutes long and will be made available on VOD and DVD later this year. On September 1st, Regular Show: The Movie will be made available on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon Instant Video, Xbox, Playstation, VUDU and others, followed by its DVD release on October 13 and a network television premiere on Cartoon Network sometime in November.
Do we know if Hulu will be the only entity to have the dub, or if it will be on other platforms, too? The show in general is definitely going to be on multiple platforms.
