‘The Simpsons: Tapped Out’ Releases a Monorail Update

TSTO Monorail

So then, “Mono” means “one,” and “rail” means “rail.” And that concludes our intensive three-week course. But if that’s not enough electric-people-mover action for you, allow me to direct you to the latest update of The Simpsons: Tapped Out…now with 100% more monorail-ness.

To start the Monorail event – which comes in three acts – players must first free up Homer to construct the Springfield Dump, a free building.

Then, for the first Act, users will need to collect Blueprints currency by earning junk, visiting Springfield neighbors, and tapping on the possums that are left by players’ neighbors in the town. This needs to be completed by August 23rd in order to obtain all the prizes.

Act Two will follow, ending on September 4th, when Act Three begins.

In addition to getting to build a unique Monorail, the event also features a daily challenge to help players gain more currency and additional prizes – and to aid will all this new stuff, there is extra land, even though the recent Springfield Heights expansion just added a whole bunch as well.
