Phineas and Ferb are turned into babies by Doofenshmirtz’s Babe-inator, but the crazed doctor soon decides to give up his evil ways and join Perry as an agent for good. Elsewhere, the guys create a colorful fall world; Doofenshmirtz mentors a student.

Guest stars: Jorge Garcia as Rodrigo, Seth Green as Monty Monogram

AGENT DOOF

Can it be true?  Is Doof a good guy? Turns out so far he is because he joins the OWCA and of course Perry is responsible for his well being. Weird enough back at Doof’s lab a janitor plugs in one of his diabolical machines which zaps Phineas and Ferb into babies. Of course their mom is at a 2-year old’s birthday party which means Candace has to watch her now baby brothers. To try and get Phineas and Ferb into some deep doo-doo Candace attempts to bring the kids over to their mother but of when she tries to stop off at a convenience store for a quick errand, Phineas and Ferb take off and end up at a baby store packed to the gills with baby toys! Eventually, Candace does get the kids over to their mom but not before Doof’s machine sets off again turning EVERYONE into babies! Of course this means Doof is WAY better at being a bad guy then he is at being a good guy, knowing this Doof gets fired from the OWCA after a duck files a list of harassment complaints with HR.

MINOR MONOGRAM

Major Monogram has a son that he wants to teach how to lead OWCA and his name is Minor. Doof has a new hire of his own named Rodrigo, weird thing is Vanessa starts to take a liking to this guy pretty quickly.Turns out Rodrigo is bad news as he captures Perry, Doof, and Vanessa and is planning to keep them hostage so he can take over the world! Luckily, with years of acrobatic training under his belt, Minor springs into action and foils Rodrigo’s evil plot. During the commotion, they knock over a huge propeller that blows away any sign of Phineas and Ferb’s latest creation “S’Fall” a colorful world of giant leaf piles.

I like how both episodes of Phineas revolved around Doof seeing a different side of the coin! In Agent Doof he’s a good guy, and in Minor Monogram he gets thwarted by a new bad guy! Also, Jorge as Rodrigo was on the spot and Seth Green as Minor was pretty funny. The best part of ‘Minor” was Major messing around with a flying trapeze while his son goes off to save the day. I couldn’t help but notice how ‘grown up’ some of the themes were in ‘Agent Doof’ with the idea of reporting indiscretions to human resources being the underlying reason why Doof gets fired. I feel those are such adult concepts it more than verifies why this show is on late on Friday nights and I for one actually welcome the breath of fresh air more adult sentiments can bring to a predominately younger audience.
