MTV debuts trailer announces premiere date for ‘Greatest Party Story Ever’
MTV is officially ready to return to prime-time animation with the premiere of Greatest Party Story Ever, the half-hour weekly show will showcase peoples’ most outrageous and epic tales covering everything from debauchery and friendship, to celebrity encounters all with a comedic tone. The funniest, craziest, most unbelievable stories will be brought to life through first-person storytelling & unique styles of animation.
Producing the series is Shadowmachine, a studio that is set to kick off 2016 where it’s leaving off 2015…busy. The studio this year is responsible for TripTank, BoJack Horseman, Hell & Back, and a bunch of others, and now the studio is primed for 2016 to keep on with the projects.
The series is set to premiere Thursday, January 14th @ 10:30 pm ET/PT on MTV. The premise is not that original as it’s a common trope that was scorching popular a couple of years ago with efforts from John Stamos and others. As a matter of fact, a lot of the stories sound fake, but who cares? They should make for funny cartoons. Check out the trailer below:
Do we know if Hulu will be the only entity to have the dub, or if it will be on other platforms, too? The show in general is definitely going to be on multiple platforms.
