Hazbin Hotel: Update On Release Date For Rebooted Series

I guess someone was listening.

Bento Box Entertainment and A24 has finally revealed some information for their upcoming rebooted take on the web sensation of the same name, Hazbin Hotel. A new poster with a release frame of Summer 2023 has been dropped featuring the Bento Box logo because SpindleHorse Toons, Princess Bento Studios, a studio jointly owned by Bento Box Entertainment and Princess Pictures, will be producing the series. The cast from the OG web series will not be returning for the upgraded adaptation.

Now, where is the show going to air? We don’t know yet, but Bento Box Entertainment’s logo gives us a clue due to the fact that the company is owned by FOX Entertainment which means a couple of things could happen here and I have them ranked in the order of most likely: 1) The series gets ordered to series for Tubi. 2) FOX’s Animation Domination Monday night line-up orders the show which now completes the two-hour block FOX was hoping for on Monday Nights starting in May which already includes Krapopolis, Grimsburg, and Housebroken. 3) A whole ‘nother network entirely has ordered the series, which isn’t a crazy thought when you factor in that Bento Box has produced animated series for the likes of Netflix, Hulu, and Comedy Central.

For those that don’t know, Hazbin Hotel is an American adult animated musical series created by Vivienne “VivziePop” Medrano. It revolves around Charlie Morningstar, demon and princess of Hell, on her quest to find a way for other demons to be “rehabilitated” and allowed into Heaven. She opens a rehabilitation hotel that offers demons a chance at redemption and to be better people.
