FOX Gets on Bus with Dan Perlman and Will Julian

Fresh off winning ‘Best New Pitch’ and the New York TV Festival, Dan Perlman and Will Julian have been ordered a pilot presentation of their animated series called That’s My Bus. FOX has put in the order for the half-hour pitch. According to The Hollywood Reporter:

That’s My Bus is a fast-paced ride into the world (and mind) of New York City bus driver Bill Russell. Passionate about his bus yet possessed of a stubborn worldview, Bill uses every bump and turn in the road to teach his son important life lessons while simultaneous driving his wife, passengers and boss crazy.

Created by stand-up comedians Dan Perlman and Will Julian, Tom Brady (FX’s animated Chozen) will serve as showrunner on the comedy.

That’s My Bus caught the attention of Fox comedy development executives at Montreal’s Just for Laughs festival.

Not much else is known, but this sounds like a pretty cool show! I would totally watch it if for no other reason the lead character is named after one of the greatest NBA Basketball players that have ever lived. This of course comes after the recent cancellation of Bordertown and the recent pick-up of Son of Zorn which is premiering this Fall on FOX.
