Our Take

For the first episode, Eri Nakamura has revealed herself to be a deranged backstabber, waiting all along for her revenge to be exacted with her own classmates in the fantasy world, and especially with Kouki the summoned Hero. Too bad he isn’t the type to simply make a move, and the other classmates are just too helpless over her palm of necromancy powers to finally see her true colors. You’d think Kaori and Princess Liliana would make an effort to save their asses, but arriving only makes the situation much worse, as there’s one more backstabber to worry about… Daisuke And Hajime being the badass edgelord he is, ends up becoming their last source of hope to finally see his classmates all jumbled up together. But when he ends up witnessing puts Hajime himself on the verge of murderous fucking breakdown!

As for the season two finale, the aftermath of all of this results in a substantial change with Kaori Though as usual, they had to throw in a bit of those awful cringey harem antics near the end. Also, the major decision everyone else within the class makes to tag along with Hajime may show some actual character growth for everyone else though I was surprised that they talked about coming back for the mer-child someday.

Overall, While Funimation/Crunchyroll felt the need to release the last two episodes Dubbed, It was quite a satisfying way to end the season. With Hajime Kicking ass with his magical arsenal, he seems to pull out of his ass in a magical sense. From Chain Gun to a fucking Death-Beam from outer space destroying almost everything in his path, which in itself was aggressively cathartic, while the aftermath felt a bit rushed, I’m glad it’s leading somewhere but it remains to be seen if season 3 ever gets announced…
