DVD Review: Gravity Falls: Six Strange Tales

GravityFallsDVD

So, Brickleberry just put out a stinker of a DVD that makes you order it directly online. Then Disney puts out a release for Gravity Falls that let’s you pick it up in stores for anywhere between $15-$20. What do you get? Well, you get six episodes and a book. Yep, that’s it. The book looks good for like 25 cents and if this some sort of grandeur effort by Disney to make you collect them all whilst collecting profit.

On Amazon.com, you can instantly purchase all six episodes that are featured on the DVD for $2 each. This DVD is retailing for anywhere between $15-$20 which makes this thing a disaster of a value. The show (like Brickleberry) is awesome and that’s not the argument here. The problem is this release is more or less a sick fuck of a value in that there is NO reason you should pick this up if you are trying to save on coin.

Pass on this release, let’s hope Disney gets its shit together and puts out a proper Blu-Ray.
