We told you guys earlier this year that Louis CK and Albert Brooks were teaming up for a new animated comedy on FX. Welp, at the time, we guessed that Floyd County Productions would handle the production of the series but BOY WERE WE WRONG!

Well, Louis CK was on The Howard Stern Show this morning where he revealed that none other than Starburns Industries (Rick and Morty) will be producing the animation for the show, which at this stage, is in production for a pilot presentation for FX Networks sometime later this year. Louis CK noted that the script is written, and now it’s just the matter of the show being produced.  We also learned that Vernon Chatman (Towelie from South Park) was actually the guy that convinced Louis that the project he produces with Albert should be an animated fare.

Louis CK noted that the show is hilarious and Starburns is the perfect studio to have produce this. Studio owner Dino Stamatopoulos and Louis CK go way back, and actually Dino is an executive producer on the show that Louis was on Stern Show promoting Horace and Pete.
