Adult Swim Shatters The Cartoon Internet With “Come And Learn With Pibby!”

I’ve always had the idea in the back of my mind that if I were to pitch an episode of Rick and Morty, it would be similar to this. I always thought it would be kinda of sick to see Rick and gang dance along WarnerMedia’s IP or even mingle with other shows for an episode of Interdimensional Cable or something, but it looks like someone may have beat Justin Roiland and Co. to it.

Introducing Comeand Learn with Pibby!, a new short taking over Youtube with already over a million hits and counting after only a couple of days that stars a super heroine named Pibby who appears to be under attack by various Cartoon Network TV show brands like The Flintstones, Adventure Time, and more. The animation production quality is stellar, the voice acting is superb, and it’s by far the most original thing I’ve seen on the internet all year.

The fan in me wants to see a season of this, but this feels more like a film franchise to me, or like WarnerMedia’s take on Smash Bros (there have been rumors that Mortal Kombat studio NetherRealm Studios is working on something to this extent). I don’t care in what delivery method, I want more.
