COLIN MELOY TWEETS PIC OF ‘THE DECEMBERISTS’ GUEST SPOT FOR “THE SIMPSONS”

Alright, just when we thought we had finally figured out that The Simpsons are NOT in Oregon, we get Portland’s own “The Decemberists” set to guest star in an upcoming episode. To prove it, Colin Meloy tweeted the above picture and then Simpsons Exec Producer Matt Selman retweeted it(which is how I saw it) thus confirming the guest spot. Not sure when the guest spot is but this surely adds another exciting name to an already stellar list of guest stars for The Simpsons 24th season.

The Simpsons are all new on Sept 30 as part of Animation Domination on FOX.
