ITS WEBS DAY!! @SAMURAIDAYCARE, @MONDOANIMATION’S BAMAN PIDERMAN, AND A JOINT

Another week, and another round of reviews for this edition of Webs Day. This week we take a look at returning favorite Baman Piderman, Samurai DayCare, and  A Joint. Check it out after the jump!

Samurai DayCare “Crappy Decision”

Good help is hard to find and no one knows that more than Ned and his Samurai DayCare, Shut Up Cartoons’ new web series that follows trained Samurai Ned(played by Matthew Lillard) as he makes a living as an operator of a day care. However, trying to convince new customers is surely a pain in the ass when you’ve got shurikens, swords, and nice ladies working there. The animation early on in episode 1 is a bit off but as it progresses it starts to get a lot better and the voices do a better job of matching the lips that are moving. I LOVE the character models as they are very unique and with Mr. Lillard leading the pack the dialogue is funny, funny, funny. This one is surely a keeper!

BAMAN  PIDERMAN “PLAY DA SONG”

Just in time to make us all forget about the Spider-Man and Dark Knight films that came out this past summer, Baman Piderman returns with all new episodes. The show itself is very funny and the animation has that ‘squigglevision’ that Dr. Katz made famous that makes it set itself apart from the pack. Could the acting be a little better? Yes, but I would much rather these guys then Andrew Garfield and Christian Bale.

A JOINT

I just posted a video of these guys the other day for their take on the trailer for God of War: Ascension and I liked it so much I thought I should review another video from the creators. This time the fight scene isn’t nearly as long or as impressive but its pretty damn cool. No plot, and no real voice acting give it a ‘meh’ but the look of it almost carries by itself.
