REVIEW: REGULAR SHOW “MUSCLE MENTOR”
Rigby must prove he can complete a task or risk losing his job.

Benson almost drops the axe on Rigby due to his lack of professionalism on the job. But, thankfully Pops Maellard spares the little raccoon and instead offers up a training program to make him a more valuable asset to the company. Benson agrees and decides to make Muscle Man the new mentor for Rigby to help him better complete his jobs. Worse yet, Rigby has to take an exam to prove that he can handle the job…the test?? Rigby has to carry Muscle Man on his back on the way to a water fountain in which he nearly quits and Muscle Man deems unfit to be a part of the crew. After a big ol’ slobberknockin’ russle tussle that leads to the guys being nearly drowned in the lake, Rigby shows that he is definitely the dude for the job.
This week’s episode I thought felt very lazy and cliched. Their just wasn’t anything special this week as “Muscle Mentor” seemed cliched and with far too many musical montages to try and help push through the lack of plot. The end fight scene was actually a lot of fun, and maybe the sole redeeming quality this week, but overall I know the writers can do far better than this effort.
Just cancel this bird already. The chicken is beyond cooked. It's burnt to a crisp.
