Alt-Rock Band 311 In Voice Booth for HBO’s Animals

The franchise is right now in a statistical tie with one or two others for best new series of the year after the conclusion of the first season a few months ago, but Animals is currently in production for a second season on HBO which is set to premiere sometime next year. You may remember an episode that aired earlier this year entitled “Pigeons” that actually aired on March 11th and featured music from the band 311. Welp, it appears next season show producers Phil Matarese and Mike Luciano are taking their fandom of 311 one step further…

A FULL ON GUEST SPOT! That’s right. This video seen below was posted by Animals co-creator Phil and it features two members of the band 311 in sound booth recording for an upcoming episode. While it’s unknown as to when or where this is gonna happen, suffice it to say we’ve got ourselves the first big name associated with Animals Season Two.

The show’s first season so guest spots from Justin Roiland, Danny McBride, and host of others, so it’ll be interesting to see where the guys from 311 fit in.
