Volumes 1-3 of RWBY Theatrical Releases Announced
For the first time ever, Rooster Teeth has announced the unthinkable. They’ve decided to release the first three volumes of RWBY in theatrical form worldwide.
If you’re wondering how it’s possible for them to cram so many episodes a season, let me remind you that the DVD releases of RWBY did it and gave you the option to see all the episodes this way which seamlessly captured the feel of watching a long movie.
Anime’s have also done this in the past to help fans catch up or introduce newbies to a particular series as they’ve done it with popular shows such as Tiger & Bunny, Death Note and Attack on Titan.

I see this as a great chance to not only expand their audience but the fact it’s leading up to vol.4 after the summer is over sounds promising. 😉
Do we know if Hulu will be the only entity to have the dub, or if it will be on other platforms, too? The show in general is definitely going to be on multiple platforms.
