Review: Regular Show “Local News Legend ”

Margaret wants to host a weekly segment on the local nightly news, but she’s gotta go through weather Jackie first! After the crazed weather report absconds as an undercover tipster giving out bad news tips to Margie, a chase ensues and we find out that Jackie is a robot sent from the future hell bent on making sure Margaret doesn’t get that job. Fortunately, Margaret is able to get some back up, and Jackie is sent to her doom.

Our Take

It may not seem like it, but this episode was fucking awesome. I mean, the ode to Terminator 2 (though I think the soundtrack was more akin to the original) was incredible and totally unexpected. The reasoning for Jackie being a robot to begin with wasn’t all the way there, but overall this week’s episode was almost legend.
