BOX OFFICE UPDATE 7/27/15: Ted 2 adds almost $10 mil

Ted 2 cost $68 million, and I’m sure Universal Pictures would like to see at least double that to call it a good investment and maybe even worthy enough for a third chapter.

This past week, the sequel to Seth MacFarlane’s directorial debut about a pot-smoking teddy bear that hangs out with his pal John all day, made almost another $10 million in international and domestic box office grosses bringing the total gross of Ted 2’s earnings to almost $154 million.

Again, don’t wait around for a Ted 3 anytime soon, however as time goes on, the likelihood could still be a reality.  Read our review of Ted 2.
