Spoilers Below

It’s the first day of class for a number of new S.H.I.E.L.D. recruits and that goes for Spider-Man too. After class, Spider Man and Iron Spider discover a hibernating archive of Arnim Zola whom awakens in a giant robot body that is out to destroy S.H.I.E.L.D. once and for all. Power Man and Agent Venom join the Spider-duo and hunt down Zola whom springs a trap on the students in the form of synthezoids.

Whizzer shows up to help, but everyone gets stuck until Iron Spider sends out a sensor that kills off the synthezoids leaving it open season for everyone to destroy Arnim Zola in his tracks. As a result of snooping around, Spider-Man gets punished by Nick Fury.

Our Take

Are YOU FUCKING ME? I didn’t realize how much of a bastardization the producers of this show portrayed Agent Venom until just now. Let’s review…you take away the fact that the reason we have an Agent Venom is because Flash Thompson was in the Army where he had his legs blown off, instead keeping the fact that he’s a bully that acts like he’s in a shit teen movie from the 80s. We also decided to put tank parts on Agent Venom’s fucking costume, and pretty much desecrate the fact that this is a character taken over by an alien symbiote that has a tendency to lose control when put in desperate situations and there was no sign of that whatsoever.

This major character flaw alone is enough to make me even forget anything good that was in this week’s episode. This show can be shoved up three assholes as far as I’m concerned.
