‘The Simpsons: Tapped Out’ Update Introduces “Tap Ball”

If you find yourself in that awkward time after hockey has ended, football is still more than a month away, and your baseball team has already shit the bed for the whole season (sorry, Phillies & Brewers fans), then please allow us to introduce a new sport: Tap Ball.

Included in the latest update to The Simpsons: Tapped Out, the game is a Homer creation which, according to the official description, is “so dangerous, so wild, so confusing that it could only exist in the digital sphere … the only rule is that there is a never-ending list of rules (because Homer keeps making them up!)”

Gamers are required to build & train teams of Springfieldians to challenge other Tap Ball players, and will be privy to new buildings, characters, decorations, and quest lines.

Just don’t end up with Mr. Burns on your team. He might make you shave off anything resembling sideburns.
