Spoilers Below

PlayCo is a company that makes shitty toys, and they come to the park seeking the likeness rights for the baby ducks and Mordecai/Rigby so that they can make a line of new toys. Mordy and Rigby say no, which leads them into a battle with the Ultimate Baby Duck and the newly formed Goose-Turkey thing. No, seriously, Playco’s answer is the Geese robot mixed with this almost turkey-like bird. The rest of the park employees combine with Mordy and Rigby while the Playco employees combine their limos with the Giant Bird and it’s literally a holy shit moment.

The Ultimate Baby Duck and the Playco bot end up in an epic battle in space which even slices the moon in half. which gives the Playco bot a new suit of armor to play with. Soon, Carter and Briggs show up and combine their bot with the Ultimate Duck along with the babies’ cousin Andy. No matter, the Playco bot gets close to an agreement, but the geese pull out due to a contractual dispute and join forces with the Ultimate Baby Duck and allows the yielding of a huge sword that causes Playco to be banished. Unfortunately, Planet Earth is turned into ruins after a massive elbow drop on the Playco employees. The park employees make it out alive, as do the rest of the good guys. The Playco guys return and offer up a new deal, this one for video games to which everyone agrees.

Our Take

It took me 20 minutes after watching this week’s episode of Regular Show to wrap my head around what the fuck happened.  The combinations happened so fast, and the episode really wasted no time into getting this thing going. What we really got was a 20-minute story with some fluff thrown in and that’s quite alright with me. The Baby Ducks are my favorite part of Regular Show and this episode took it to another level. The producers wanted to play right to our hearts with giving us a sequel that is more of what the ‘Full Blown Geese’ episode was, just amped to 11 and it worked.  I would have liked a better musical score, but overall this was a fitting finale to the season.
