Spoilers Below

Chug is an anteater, Yak is…a yak. Chug really wants to live in the zoo forever whereas Yak is willing to do anything and everything to escape. Unfortunately for the two of them they live together, but Yak tries to change that by convincing Chug to jump into a tiger pit while he makes the escape. This plan soon falters because Yak gets the shit kicked out of him by all the tigers so no escape this week.

The initial problem that I had with this series is that Chug looks nothing like an anteater and more like a dog. Have you seen an anteater? This is what an anteater looks like. However, I’m not looking for an Animal Planet-perfect depiction either as characters like Goofy have made nice careers in not looking anything like their inspired animal. The premise for the series isn’t all that unique nor, but I kinda want to see what else the Yak would do to get out of captivity. Being in a zoo offers limitless possibilities on what are two characters can get themselves into, and I think that’s worth watching.
