”Jay and Silent Bob’s Super Groovy Cartoon Movie” gets release date!

Last year, producers Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes took on the task of financing an animated film and touring the country with it and as such becoming a VERY profitable endeavor. The duo toured the entire United States and even into Canada, leaving fans everywhere with plenty of snoochies and boochies.

Welp, this past Monday Night on Comedy Central, @midnight featured Jason and Kevin as Hardwick’s contestants and during the opening introductions it was announced that the duo would release the aforementioned movie entitled ”Jay and Silent Bob’s Super Groovy Cartoon Movie” on Demand starting on May 6th. Furthermore, there is talk of DVD and Blu-Ray releases happening in May, but we haven’t heard if those releases will coincide with the On Demand release of the film or if they will release on a different day altogether.

In related news, it was just announced by Kevin Smith on his Smodcast that both him and Jay will be touring the UK for five dates in which they will also be showing off their hugely successful cartoon movie. Tickets are on-sale today!
