According to the Miami Herald, former WWE Executive Carl Demarco plans to convert the popular advertising character of El Tabador into that of a prime-time animated series geared towards families. According to the article:
El Tabador is a tiny, masked “Lucha Libre” wrestler who lives in a giant world. Ever suave and witty, El Tabador’s charm has captured the imagination of Canadians of all ages through his gift of gab, his muscle flexing physical comedy and overpowering confidence. For the past four years, he has starred in numerous Koodo advertising campaigns.
Carl is CEO and Company Chariman of a company called Camillion Corp., and together with Koodo mobile they plan to take the series not only to television, but to other mediums such as mobile and other digital platforms. Evidently, not only does Carl want to make the series suitable so that the whole family can watch, but he also plans to tailor the series to be interesting enough for wrestling fans to catch on.
Not to be outdone,
WWE is also creating an animated web series featuring a number of different personalities such as Vince McMahon, Triple H, and John Cena.
If I were a betting man, I’d say the character stays in Canada for the foreseeable future before we see any sign of
El Tabador in the States. Find out more about
El Tabador here.

Do we know if Hulu will be the only entity to have the dub, or if it will be on other platforms, too? The show in general is definitely going to be on multiple platforms.
