Spoilers Below

Bob cuts his finger leaving the kids in charge and they aren’t exactly flooding the doors with their customer service. As a result, Louise decides to turn the restaurant into an underground casino and she turns into a regular Ace Rothstein as she calls out cheaters, keeps her employees in check, and most notably keeps the cash! Eventually, Fischoeder shows up but instead of shutting down the operations he decides to join in and soon he CLEANS house after playing some rock, paper, scissors deal.

Meanwhile, Bob’s tryna get his finger looked at, but their doctor is some punk kid who clearly hasn’t applied stitches before and he’s just waiting for his mom to pick him up. Eventually, Bob passes out and wakes up ti find his arms shaved which freaks him out and sees him BOLT from the doctor’s office.  However, on the car ride home, Bob’s arm bursts open and blood pours out everywhere and he has to go back to the doctor’s. Of course, Bob tries to get a different doctor, and he even settles for the nurse.  Bob seems to get stitched up and the couple head home, but they can’t seem to find the kids! They look in the basement and BOOM the casino’s cover is blown and Calvin is owed 5 G’s!

Louise convinces her dad to go double or nothing despite the fact that his fingers are screwed up from surgery. Alas, Bob plays against Calvin and he launches his blood splatter scissors for the win!

This week on Bob’s we get another solid episode that again showcases the kids as a better group versus Tina with [insert name]. Louise was hysterical and as a guy who has seen Casino about 100,000 times I totally loved each and every one of her juicy threats. That said I think the title of the is a bit mis-leading as I legitimately thought the whole deal was going to be the kids running a restaurant versus the kids running a casino in the basement of the restaurant. I also wanted to see like a whole BUNCH more of the doctor played by John Pemberton. Alas, all of the ingredients that make Bob’s one of the best shows on TV. Bob and Linda were being silly on their own and their buddy comedy relationship is starting to really grow on me.  Kevin Kline also shows up and gives another great performance as Fischoeder and when he and Bob go at it, its like getting ready to watch a prize fight because you never know how its going down. That’s maybe the best thing about Bob’s Burgers, that after three seasons they still keep me guessing.
