Be “In The Know” About Peacock’s New Adult Animated Comedy Series
Peacock has announced a January 25th start date for a brand-new stop-motion adult animated comedy series from Bandera Entertainment, Shadowmachine Studios and co-created by Zach Woods and Brandon Gardner.
In the series, Lauren Caspian is NPR’s third most popular host. He’s a well-meaning, hypocritical nimrod, just like you and me. He’s also a stop motion puppet. Each episode follows the making of an episode of Lauren’s show In the Know, in which Lauren conducts in-depth interviews with real world human guests. Lauren collaborates with a diverse crew of NPR staff. They are also puppets and nimrods.
Six episodes are on the way timed for 30-minutes a piece and already Peacock is kicking off the year with TWO HUGE adult animation producers in Seth MacFarlane and Mike Judge. Moreover, this comes off the recent news of the Eli Roth-produced Fight Krewe being renewed for a second season.
Do we know if Hulu will be the only entity to have the dub, or if it will be on other platforms, too? The show in general is definitely going to be on multiple platforms.
