English Dub Review: Link Click “Improvise”
Overview:
Cheng Xiaoshi and Qiao Ling attempt to rescue Lu Guang.
Our Take:
Cheng Xiaoshi gets forced out of the photo and Qiao Ling deciphers Li Tianxi’s drawings. They reach the conclusions that the siblings are using their powers in tandem to possess people Li Tianxi can enter photos and Li Tianchen can take over the person in the picture.
Li Tianchen and Qian Jin present an opportunity for Lu Guan’s safe return. They request that only Cheng Xioashi and Qiao Ling enter. The plan is for Cheng Xiaoshi to take Lu Guang’s place. Captain Xiao and Cheng Xiaoshi have a plan as well, but that doesn’t go as expected.
This episode is a lot easier to follow than the previous one. I like the fact that we finally find out who is possessing people. It’s been narrowed down, but it’s nice to finally have an answer. I wasn’t expecting the siblings to be using their powers together, but it looks like Li Tianxi is done helping her brother like this.
The second season seems to be working towards its climactic ending. There are only two episodes left after this, but there’s always the possibility of another season. Regardless, it seems like the current situation is in the antagonists’ favor. I’m curious to see how or if the tables will turn in the next episode.
Do we know if Hulu will be the only entity to have the dub, or if it will be on other platforms, too? The show in general is definitely going to be on multiple platforms.
