Austin, Texas-Based Bar To Transform Into “Moe’s Tavern” For Halloween

A lot of bars have done this with mixed results. Some bars inspired your favorite animated shows either get a chance to do their thing while others get hit with a cease and desist. In the case of Moe’s Tavern, the famous watering hole from The Simpsons, the bars and restaurants are so wide-spread all over the globe that I don’t know how anybody could keep up.

In any event, a bar called Nickel Creek based in Austin, TX is dressing up as Moe’s Tavern for Halloween. The restaurant will both look like the bar and feature an array of drinks and food inspired by the show. As you can see in this clip, the owners did a stellar job of recreating one of the most well-known aesthetics in pop culture history…let’s hope it lives.
