Adult Swim: Toonami Schedule Update ; Ballmastrz 9009 Season Two Sneak ; Jojo Part 5

The Animation Nights event happening in NYC tomorrow will feature not only a highly-anticipated panel for the 20th Anniversary of Augenblick Studios, but Aaron’s former cohort for Superjail will also be at the event. That being Christy Karacas, who has announced that on Saturday @ 2pm he will be showcasing a sneak peek of Ballmastrz 9009 Season Two! Get details here.

Ballmastrz 9009 was renewed for a second season earlier this year but has actually been in production for over a year now.  And for those that don’t know, the series follows “Gaz Digzy (Natasha Lyonne), a washed-up superstar and notorious party gal who, after a spiral of destructive antics, is demoted to The Leptons, the worst team in The Game. Her only way back to the top is to somehow lead these pathetic misfits and “ultimate losers” to victory.”

THAT’S friggin’ crazy that Boruto is taking a break from Toonami in favor of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure set to premiere October 26th. Note, One Punch Man Season Two and Demon Slayer actually premiere on October 12th for the network, but then only two weeks later the schedule changes again. Also, they are just gonna replay Dragon Ball Super? Note Dragon Ball and Mobile Suit Gundam finale on Oct 5th edition of Toonami so keep checking back for reviews for those.

In Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, set in 2001, two years after the events of Diamond is Unbreakable, Koichi Hirose is sent to Italy and tasked by Jotaro Kujo to search for Giorno Giovanna, an aspiring mafia gangster who is a son of Dio Brando. But as Dio possessed the body of Jonathan Joestar at time of his conception, Giorno is technically a Joestar and takes more after them than the father he never knew. The series follows Giorno as he joins the mafia organization Passione, moving up through its ranks with the intention of becoming its boss to improve life in Italy.
