English Dub Review: Space Battleship Tiramisu “Sento”
Japan can be so silly.
Overview (Spoilers Below)
This week’s episode sees the crew of Tiramisu visits a bathhouse due to the showers onboard their ship being out of order. Problem is, Subaru has scary nipples and he doesn’t want to expose them to anyone. Eventually, Subaru calms down when he gets into one of the baths where he meets up with someone else’s pube and we learn all about someone that Subaru has had wrong this whole time. As he’s about to leave, one of the patrons of the bathhouse takes his gear and as such exposes himself to everyone within an earshot.
Our Take
Here in the States, we really don’t have bathhouses anymore other than gym bathrooms and the like, and this week’s episode is probably a good reminder why it’s a good idea that we don’t. I like how dirty the producers of this show get, between masturbation jokes, talking pubes, and Subaru’s untimely erection, this show is in unchartered waters nowadays with all the PC-nonsense going on. It’s refreshing to see.
