English Dub Review: Interviews with Monster Girls “The Takanashi Sisters Are Undeniable”
This series is about as boring as the Matthew Sweet song.

Tetsuo is invited over to the Takanashi household for dinner and it’s here he really begins to understand the family dynamics of living with a demi. For starters, the bond is strong, and despite their constant bickering, the bond between twin sisters Hikari and Himani is undeniable and that bodes true whether at home OR at school. This episode also showcases the growth of the extended family in that the parents of demis are beginning to look out for each other’s kids when the Takanashi patriarch shows up to the bio lab to pick up Kyoko from school.
Our Take
Other than the spiritual journey that Tetsuo appears to be on when dealing with the Monster Girls, there’s not a TON to hold your attention week after week and that has been the case for the majority of this half-season so far. I hope as the season draws to a close, we can actually get a point to all of this research Tetsuo is doing and maybe get some drama thrown in here. Some of the comedy is cute, but there’s not a lot here to get excited about.
