Spoilers Below

Lois wants to take the family over to dinner at her ex-boyfriend’s house and right away Peter is jealous of the Fishman’s. Once they get home, Lois offers up the idea to go to Mt. Everest with the whole family to challenge Ross and the rest of the Fishmans to see whom gets to the top. After, enlisting the help of a donkey with sunglasses, the Griffins set off to climb the fucker. However, almost right away Peter falls off a cliff but fortunately he gets back and the whole family have to ward of the harsh conditions and deadly precipices that is Everest. And guess what? They do it! Unfortunately, the Fishmans are already there and now the only way is down the mountain to avoid a huge oncoming storm.

With no food or water, the trip down is looking bleak for the Griffins, but as luck would have it they find the frozen body of Ben Fishman and yes they eat the SHIT out of him. That said, it isn’t long before the Fishman parents are on their way back up and asking the Griffins if they’ve seen Ben but of course they deny it. Eventually, the Griffins make it back to base but Lois wants to go back up and help Ross and his wife in their search for Ben. Unfortnately, their outlook is grim as they stumble onto the parents passed out on an ice cliff. Thankfully, Peter makes a daring rescue that nearly kills the rest of the family but is able to rescye the Fishman’s from certain death.

Oh dear God, Family Guy is back and boy it feels good. We had some really good cutaways tonight including Stewie in Vegas, but the awesome stuff were the built-in gags like the GPMS, Peter’s obvious admissions that he ate the Fishman’s kid, and my personal favorite the Yak Shack. The great thing about this show is seen as evident when the Griffins make the decision to eat Ben, but not only for the decision, but the fact that they worked together to make sure no one found out about it until the credits is pretty hysterical. We had a few opening sports gags literally one right after the other that I felt were a little flat but overall its good to see the Griffins in all their puke-sicles.That said, the Simpons and American Dad did this one already….
