MOVE OVER DETHKLOK…SUCK A DICK GORILLAZ…PUSHER JONES(@PUSHERJONES) IS HERE!

So, I was on Amazon.com checking out the bands and track listing for the official soundtrack for The Avengers Movie set to release May 1st, 3 days before the movie hits theaters worldwide on May 4th. I run down the list, and I see bands like Soundgarden, Soundgarden(I did that on purpose because pretty much all the bands suck), and then a random band called Pusher Jones. Befuddled, I decided to do some research and came across an article in Rolling Stone Magazine where they actually had the chance to interview the band.

Turns out, the band is an animated project similar to the group Gorillaz but instead of one guy doing all the shit on the record it really is a full band featuring the likes of Dave Kushner of Velvet Revolver fame together with The Simpsons’ creative director Dave Warren with Frankie Pereze, Scott Shriner, and Joey Castillo to round out the group. Dave has actually worked with Warren quite a bit having tried to develop a How I Met Your Mother spin off called The Bro Code with Simpsons segment producer Ralph Sosa.
