English Dub Review: Tower of God “The Hand of Arlen”

Overview:

Kang Horyang leaves to look for Cassano alone. Unable to abandon their teammate, Viole and the others go after him.

Our Take:

If you are looking for a particular person and think you have found that person I can understand why you might not listen when they say “I’m not him!” But maybe you should because then you wouldn’t make such a huge mistake. Kang isn’t the right hand of the devil but picking a fight with him isn’t advised. But luckily for those dummies, Cassano (who is the right hand of the devil) showed up to fight and now Kang is reunited with his old friend.

Speaking of old friends, Viole isn’t about to let Kang handle all of this alone and it turns out that Khun is in the area as well. Perhaps a reunion is in their future? I don’t remember them meeting this soon when I read but I could be misremembering. I wasn’t a fan of Viole thinking about “family” and then picturing Rachel. I’m not a fan of the word “simp” but I think it applies here. She almost got him killed she thinks she did kill him, and you still think of her fondly? Viole is an interesting character but that is a pretty big flaw to me.
