Overview:

Viole witnesses Kang Horyang’s defeat and unleashes an incredible power. Meanwhile, Khun realizes he has been betrayed and rushes to save his teammates.

Our Take:

I thought I had read further than this in the webtoon but I don’t remember this part. I remember thinking there might be a chance for redemption from Rachel. Sure, what she did to Bam was awful and not everyone knows that he survived which might make it worse but we know that he did survive and for some reason, he isn’t holding a grudge. But that girl is a straight-up psycho and at this point, I think the story might be more interesting for it. Her backstory outside of Bam is something I’m very interested in now because what is causing her to act this way? Lots of people want to climb the tower and a lot of them do some awful things but this takes the cake.

I also didn’t remember Bam and Khun reuniting this early and I’m kind of glad I didn’t because it was lame if I’m being honest. Bam went out of his way to play up being a big bad Fug slayer so that Khun wouldn’t know it was him. But I think at this point we all know that Khun is one of the smartest people alive and he’s probably figured it out. I just hope he figures out how badly he was betrayed before he goes back home.
