Overview:
While Belle struggles through her trauma, Adonis sinks into darkness. There, he meets the sword wright Dram and Belle’s teacher, Sian. Learning of their shared path awakens him to a terrible new power.
Our Take:
Well if you managed to make it this far then you know that there is a second season. There was even a preview at the end of the episode that told us the story would be continued. I still have no idea what’s going on but it seems like Adonis might be the villain when we get back to things next time. This episode had a lot of mess from start to finish, Adonis was doing weird things with Belle’s old teacher, and Bell tried to forget her trauma by going into battle, like I said… weird.
Belle going into battle was confusing because she lost her composure and was wounded because of it. It looked like a bigger deal than it was apparently because she got run through with a sword but the next time we see her she wakes up in a bed with her injuries getting healed. Not only that but when the injury occurred no one seemed to freak out at the time or anything. Let’s hope the next season is much better than this one.
