The Simpsons is slated to return with new episodes on September 29th only on FOX and along with killer announcements like the producers of Robot Chicken helping with a parody of Venom called “Denim” we’re getting a slew of guest stars such as Conan O’Brien, Danny DeVito (returning as Herb Powell), John Cena, Tom Hanks, MLB baseball players, guest animator Jorge R. Gutierrez, and Andy Serkis.

At San Diego Comic-Con 2024, Matt Selman recorded the screaming of The Simpsons panel audience to be used in the season’s Treehouse of Horror episode. In addition, a follow-up episode to the seventh season episode “22 Short Films About Springfield” was announced a long with a second Treehouse of Horror episode that is also planned to be broadcast this season, titled “Simpsons Wicked This Way Comes”. The episode will feature three segments parodying stories by Ray Bradbury. Series creator Matt Groening stated that Bradbury criticized the show in the press after the series premiered because it borrowed from an episode of The Twilight Zone that he wrote.

Thousands of fans of The Simpsons have been inspired to create their own renditions of the iconic Simpsons family home in The Sims 4 with a total of 2,051 re-creations using the instantly recognizable house from the show’s opening credits and soon-to-be President Elect Kamala Harris could help another prediction from The Simpsons come to life, but nothing beats when new episodes of The Simpsons hits TV this fall on FOX.
