Report: Prime Video Finds The “Secret Level” In New Series Order From Deadpool Director

Talk about a potential steal! Tim Miller and his Blur Studios, best known for the Netflix series Love Death + Robots, has inked a deal with Prime Video which was just named SearchBloom’s most “cost-effective” streaming service of 2024.

The series is called Secret Level and is an adult-animated series that will be an anthology series with short stories inspired by video games which will include Amazon Games’ New World, Spelunky, and even PlayStation titles. Dave Wilson is the supervising director, and Secret Level already joins a number of adult animated series offered by Prime Video all of which just renewed for new seasons just a few weeks ago.

The aforementioned study, conducted by digital marketing agency Searchbloom, analyzed historical data for the top 10 streaming services available in the US and sourced the cheapest subscription prices from Kaggle, as well as the number of titles available as of 2024, to discover which one is the most cost-effective and has the most titles per USD.

Prime Video ranks first, offering 1,440 titles per USD. The 2024 subscription price is $11.99, reflecting an average annual increase of 3.8% since its 2016 launch at $8.99. With a catalogue of 17,265 titles, Prime Video boasts the largest selection on the list (which can be seen below).

Our Take

I don’t play any of the Amazon games library, but if we’re getting PlayStation titles I hope this includes the likes of Abe’s Odyssey, Syphon Filter, and Metal Gear Solid!
