Report: Deadman Animated Series In Works From DC Studios

Nexus Point News claims to have information that DC Studios is in early development of an animated series adaptation of the DC Comics superhero Deadman. The character which has had previous animated incarnations most recently in the Justice League: Dark film directed by Jay Oliva.

The report indicates that the plan is to do a an animated rendition of the character before moving on to a live-action one much in the same way that is intended to happen with the upcoming Creature Commandos animated series coming before the end of this year. That said, with DC Studios parent company WB Discovery trading under $7 a share and having not a great history of coming through on far-off bets, I’d say don’t hold your breath.
