Netflix News: Twilight Of The Gods ; Blue Box ; Long Story Short From BoJack Horseman Creator

Netflix has revealed its adult animation premieres for September 2024, unfortunately, it’s only one series that will be bowing and that’s Twilight of the Gods. The Zack Snyder-produced series has dropped a new clip and you can see it below with a full synopsis:

Synopsis:  The animated series brings Zack Snyder’s daring and spectacular vision of ancient Norse mythology to life, and features the voices of Sylvia Hoeks, Stuart Martin, Pilou Asbaek, John Noble, Paterson Joseph, Rahul Kohli, Jamie Clayton, Kristopher Hivju, Peter Stormare, Jamie Chung, Lauren Cohan, and Corey Stoll, among others.

We have new information concerning the English dub premiere of Blue Box. 

The sports anime is planned and produced by TMS Entertainment, animated by Telecom Animation Film and directed by Yūichirō Yano, with Yūko Kakihara handling series composition, and Miho Tanino designing the characters.

We now know that the VSI Group will be producing the English dubbed adaptation which may or may not simulcast with the Netflix premiere in October 2024. Sometimes Netflix will do a dub cast, other times they upload the Japanese language series then dub it later, but we’re pretty certain it’s going to be the latter.

Ten years removed from premiering the legendary BoJack Horseman series, Netflix is re-teaming with the creatives of that series for a new project that has officially been ordered and you can learn more about below.

Long Story Short is an animated comedy about a family, over time. It’s about the shared history, the inside jokes, the old wounds. If you’ve ever had a mother, father, sibling, partner, or child, this is the show for you and by the way would it kill you to call them?

Raphael Bob-Waksberg will write, showrun and executive produce the series which marks Bob-Waksberg’s return to Netflix after creating the seminal animated hit comedy, BoJack Horseman, which premiered 10 years ago today. Noel Bright and Steven A. Cohen (BoJack Horseman, Tuca & Bertie, Undone) will executive produce for Tornante Television.

Lisa Hanawalt (BoJack Horseman, Tuca & Bertie) is supervising producer and will design the original art for the series.

ShadowMachine (BoJack Horseman, Tuca & Bertie, Pinocchio), is producing out of their LA animation studio. Corey Campodonico and Alex Bulkley will serve as Co-Executive Producers.
