Based on the restaurant owner’s information, Tatsuya narrows down a place in Kyoto where the Traditionalists are hiding. He meets with Mayumi, who wants to find the culprit who killed Nakura, and Masaki, who happens to come across them during a battle against the Traditionalists, and heads to Arashiyama with them.

Our Take

While investigating the Traditionalists in Kyoto with Minoru’s guidance, Tatsuya’s group met a restaurant owner near Sanzen-in Temple who voiced his concerns about the hidden state of the Traditionalists. Acting on this information, Tatsuya and Mayumi headed to Arashiyama, determined to find Nakura’s killer. With Minoru absent, Masaki also joined Tatsuya and Miyuki on this mission, adding to the tension and anticipation.

Mayumi questioned Masaki about her reasons for being in Kyoto, but Tatsuya reassured her that he would never disclose anything without her permission. Despite his reassurances, Mayumi’s concern was evident. Tatsuya, noticing her unease, asked her to explain the situation, believing that they might need to rely on Masaki if all else fails…

Overall, the episode was tense, filled with distrust and the looming threat of an impending confrontation. Tatsuya’s progress in the case and the buildup towards the season finale added to the excitement. The reappearance of Ichijo and the joint efforts with Mayumi and Masaki made for an intriguing dynamic. As the showdown with Zhou approaches, the stakes are higher than ever for the season finale!
