English Dub Review: Berserk of Gluttony “Crowned Beast”

Overview:

Fate accompanies Roxy to the Hart family’s lands, where the harvest occurs. Kobolds have wandered into the area seeking the now plentiful food. Among them is a crowned beast, far more formidable than anything Fate has faced.

Our Take:

Fate got a chance to meet Roxy’s mom and I’m no detective but I’ll be very surprised if this series doesn’t end with Roxy and Fate together. Most people would have argued that since Roxy is a noble and Fate is a commoner it would never happen. Well in this episode we learned that Roxy’s mother was a commoner and I don’t know if you all are familiar with the term “Chekov’s Gun” but that gun is gonna fire I promise you. It’s just a matter of when and something tells me it’s a ways off.

For that to happen Roxy has to live though and she’s taking on a very dangerous quest. She is heading off to Galia which is one of the most dangerous places you can go apparently. Long ago monsters overran the capital and it has become a wasteland where only monsters can survive. That’s where Roxy’s father died and now she is off to finish what he started. Something tells me Fate won’t be too far behind her.
