Comic book animation fans are going to be eating well for the next month. Adult Swim is readying the final episodes of My Adventures with Superman Season Two along with Harley Quinn spin-off Kite-Man: Hell Yeah! Prime Video is checking in with the series premiere of Batman: Caped Crusader on August 1st. Finally, Hulu is checking in with TWO series, one being Marvel’s Hit-Monkey celebrating its second season on July 15 and starting July 4th we’ve got fireworks in the form of the English dubbed adaptation of Suicide Squad: Isekai
Three episodes of the latter will premiere on July 4th only on Hulu that comes from Wit Studio, presented by Warner Bros. Japan, and directed by Eri Osada, with the series composition and the screenplay by Tappei Nagatsuki and Eiji Umehara, character design by Naoto Hosoda based on drafts by manga artist Akira Amano, and music by Kenichiro Suehiro.
SERIES SYNOPSIS: In the crime-ridden Gotham city, Amanda Waller, the head of A.R.G.U.S., has assembled a group of notorious criminals for a mission: Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface and King Shark. These DC Super-Villains are sent into an otherworldly realm that’s connected to this world through a gate. It’s a world of swords and magic where orcs rampage and dragons rule the skies—an “ISEKAI”!
Harley and others go on a rampage after arriving in ISEKAI but are captured by the Kingdom’s soldiers and sent to prison. They only have 72 hours before the bomb on their neck explodes. The deadline is fast approaching. After negotiations with Queen Aldora, the condition for liberation was the conquest of the hostile Imperial army. They have no choice but to throw themselves head-first into the front line of battle.
