Rumors Swirl About Jay Johnston (Momma Named Me Sheriff/Bob’s Burgers) Being At Capitol Riots**UPDATED 7/8**

This photo that the FBI posted looks awfully like Jay Johnston (“Mr. Goodman”/Momma Named Me Sheriff ; “Jimmy Pesto”/ Bob’s Burgers):

Several reliable sources including the likes of Spencer Crittenden, Tim Heidecker, and Cassandra Church had unofficially confirmed that it was indeed Johnston at the Capital Riots rally on January 6th that saw five people die after President Trump had ordered the crowds to fight back in an effort to disrupt the Presidential Election votes being counted in favor of Joe Biden, the eventual winner of the 2020 election.

It has been confirmed that Jay has previously been an advocate for President Trump and was a guest on Gavin McInnes’ podcast. Gavin is a one-time Vice Magazine co-owner who is also the original founder of the Proud Boys. Since the insurrection, FBI has been utilizing Twitter to have social media help locate potential suspects.

Our Take

It’s not 100% confirmed yet, so I’m still holding out hope that it really isn’t Jay Johnston at those rallies. But if it is, this would be a devastating loss if he is indeed arrested and convicted for any offenses as it would almost certainly spell the end of Jay’s involvement with the aforementioned franchises. 2020 has already seen enough voice actors get replaced on TV shows for ridiculous reasons, we don’t need yet another.

Update 6/7: According to Deadline, Jay Johnston was indeed arrested in connection to the January 6th insurrection. Here are his charges.

Update 6/28: Jay Johnston has plead guilty to the aforementioned federal charges.

Update 7/8: Jay Johnston has pleaded guilty on Monday to interfering with police officers trying to protect the U.S. Capitol. He will be sentenced on Oct 7 where he faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison.
