Grateful, Anna invites him to her home. Visiting for the first time, Kyotaro nervously takes a bath but discovers his underwear is missing when he gets out. He puts on a tracksuit provided by Anna and sneaks out of the changing room, only to encounter Anna in different loungewear, creating a series of comedic and awkward moments.The growing bond between Kyotaro and Anna during the proceedings consistently remains fun and often very grounded in reality. But at the end of the day, looking beyond Anna’s superficially perfect exterior, she’s just a normal girl with her share of fears, insecurities, etc. And in response to this, Kyotaro feels they are more alike than he initially thought… Overall, this episode beautifully captured the wholesomeness of adolescence along with the cringey awkwardness that’s sometimes tied with it regarding the characters’ growth. The two leads sharing vulnerable moments was easily one of the biggest highlights. But hopefully, this momentum continues to grow and leads to something bigger in the long run…
