English Dub Review: Tower of God “Last Chance”

Overview:

On the twentieth level, there is another test to determine who may continue to climb the tower. Many who have failed and buried their dreams gather there. However, Ja Wangnan does not want to give up and puts everything on one last chance.

Our Take:

Back in 2020, I remember reading so much of the webtoon Tower of God that I barely remember certain parts. Do you ever do that? Binge-watch or read something so fast that you can barely remember certain parts? That’s how I feel about this part of the series but I remember it being fun. What I don’t forget is that Rachel sucks and my boy deserved better than what he got from her.

When the first season aired it was in the very beginning of quarantine and that put a lot of dubs on hold. I think we’re just now beginning to get back to simuldub status but there are still some hiccups. The reason I bring this up is that when I originally watched this show it was subbed. I forgot that Johnny Yong Bosch played Bam, he can do the voice of a little kid well but I don’t think he’ll have to for this show anymore. It was nice to hear Aleks Le as well in this series, I’m looking forward to getting back into this popular series.
