English Dub Review: Go! Go! Loser Ranger! “The Zigzag Road to the Final Exam!”

Overview:

Fighter D’s plans go awry as Shion works with the other cadets on the second day of the exam.

Our Take:

Fighter D might end up being my protagonist of the year if he keeps this up. I love how he’s chock full of confidence and has funny ideals. When Shion betrays him he thinks to himself that it was okay for him to betray Shion but not the other way around. It’s that type of brutal honesty we need from our “hero” and it seems like Suzukiri has realized that D has taken the form of Hibiki. Is it just me or does she have some sort of yandere fascination with D?

Interesting things are happening with Fighter XX as well. She was found out when a blue ranger came to fix the hole in Hibiki’s closet. Which reminds me, did he not think that through when he placed the service request? That was a silly oversight but it did lead to finding out that there might be more rangers that are sympathetic to the monsters than we think. Not only that but it seems there is at least one boss monster still alive and kicking.
