English Dub Review: Go! Go! Loser Ranger! “Shout Out Loud, Cadets!”

Overview:

Peltrola sneaks into the White Dragon’s Nest and meets Komachi Aizome of the Blue Squadron.

Our Take:

Things are going from bad to worse outside of the exam but concerning the exam, things are going a lot better. It looked like D and his motley crew had gotten outsmarted again, but they thought further ahead. We were led to believe that the bell ending the exam had run but we found out that wasn’t the case and D’s team messed with the bell beforehand. They knew they wouldn’t outmuscle the other group so they had to outsmart them.

Meanwhile, things are not going well for anyone who runs into Peltrola and Fighter XX. Death is all that follows and if I’m not mistaken Fighter XX has now replaced one of D’s teammates. We won’t know till the next episode but what we know now is that the rangers running the exam now know that there is a boss monster roaming their halls.

I’m very impressed with Paul Castro Jr. who voices Hibiki. He’s not only voicing his character (where is he by the way?) but he has to voice Fighter D in essence. When we hear D’s inner monologue it remains Zeno Robinson but all this time he’s been pretending to be Hibiki, Paul Castro Jr. has had to voice the character as if he was Zeno. I think he’s done a great job thus far and it’s made the series a lot of fun.
