Pharrell Drops Trailer For LEGO-Animated Bio-Documentary “Piece By Piece”

Ironically, today is National Slayer Day (6/6) inspired by the thrash-metal titans Slayer, and I say that’s ironic because the band has a song called “Piece By Piece” and now here’s Pharrell Williams dropping a trailer for his highly-anticipated bio-doc also called Piece By Piece. Now, while the Slayer track is inspired by frontman Tom Araya’s previous gig working in the medical field (as a respiratory therapist), Pharrell’s appears to be referring to this LEGO-animated produced effort that is slated to premiere in theaters on October 11th.

Featuring interviews with the likes of Gwen Stefani, Kendrick Lamar, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, and Snoop Dogg, Piece by Piece is a unique cinematic experience that invites audiences on a vibrant journey through the life of cultural icon Pharrell Williams. Told through the lens of LEGO® animation, turn up the volume on your imagination and witness the evolution of one of music’s most innovative minds.
