The Duke enjoys his last few days before going back into the past to meet Sade.
Our Take:
Okay, I cheated a little bit just now because I use a website called mangaupdates it’s a useful website that tells you whether a manga is licensed in English and if there is an anime, what parts of the manga it covers. I just looked for The Duke of Death and His Maid and it seems that this third season will cover the remaining parts of the manga. That makes me both happy and sad, I love this series and when the first season aired I thought it would be doomed to a one-and-done fate. This anime started in 2021 and will get a finale in 2024 that’s not bad.
As for this episode, it felt very much like a calm before-the-storm situation. There were a few cute moments with most of the female cast deciding to have a girl’s night. Violet was trying to get everyone to talk about their love drama but most weren’t having it. Later the next day Alice reveals to Violet that her “prince charming” is the Duke and I think Violet is surprised. I’m just hoping that something awful doesn’t happen in the next couple of episodes because some major death flags were being raised in this episode.
