English Dub Review: Go! Go! Loser Ranger! “We Are Justice! The Dragon Keepers!”;“Go! Fighter D!”

I’ve been waiting for the dub of this series for a while. I’m a big fan of the author Negi Haruba, I loved The Quintessential Quintuplets so I was heavily anticipating his next series. Go! Go! Loser Ranger! was not what I was expecting but it looked awesome nonetheless. It is very different from their last series which was a harem/romcom, I didn’t read too far into this one but I don’t think there’s any romance. When I would try to get people to read this series I would describe it as Power Rangers meets The Boys.

If you’re like me and grew up watching Power Rangers, this show might traumatize you. I’m kidding of course but seeing the Rangers as the “bad” guys is odd. Calling them bad might not be right because it’s not like our protagonist is all that “good”. D is one of the fighters, like the putties from Power Rangers, they’re the mobs who the rangers beat up before the boss. Only in this world the Rangers destroyed the bosses early on, but made a deal with the Fighters.

Once a week a group of Fighters comes down to face the Rangers and the Fighters can change how they look, so one of them changes themself to look like a boss. One of the Fighters, D, has had enough of this and intends to fight back by infiltrating the Rangers by posing as a human. He was doing great until he was found out by a member of the yellow squad, Yumeko Suzukiri. Luckily, it seems she has reasons for wanting to bring the Rangers down and offers to help D. This could get pretty interesting.
